Would you like your upcoming event to be really memorable?

The Butler Longhorn Museum has many areas that are available for your special event. Click the links below to see picture galleries of previous events.

The museum can provide a list of preferred vendors and photographers that we work with routinely for our weddings and private events. Of course you’re welcome to bring in your own vendors, or you can rely on the experience and expertise of the museum’s Executive Director and Event Coordinator. The museum prides itself in the quality and skill of its outside contractors. For more information, check out our preferred photographer, Kelley Sweet and her team, and contact the museum for a list of preferred caterers and other vendors.

Butler Longhorn Room

The open area on the second floor of the museum is a unique location for your corporate event, wedding reception, baby shower, birthday party, or anything else you can imagine!

Old Western-Style Theater

Our theater is perfect for small gatherings or up-close-and-personal performances ̶ live music, theater, lectures, and much more! Public events are held here throughout the year, but you can also reserve the theater for your own private event. The theater seats approximately 40 people.

Education Center

The Education Center is well-suited for large gatherings, whether for children or adults. The museum regularly hosts a variety of lectures, dance classes, piano and vocal lessons, children’s camps, and even art classes in this building, which is a separate location on museum grounds. This building can suit any event need.

Outdoor Garden Area and Open-Air Stage

The museum is surrounded by a beautiful garden area that is perfect for garden parties, music performances, a good ole Texas-style get-together, or a Texas-style BBQ! The garden area is also perfect for a wedding under the Texas stars, whether it is a very elegant wedding or a “grab your hats and boots” affair.

Don’t forget to check the calendar for any special events hosted by the museum that are open to members and open to the public. For more information on renting any of these spaces, or if you have any questions, please call or email the museum.
